The Crazy Creole Mommy Chronicles are the musings of health equity advocate and activist Brooke Abbott. What started as tweets from a new stay-at-home mom learning to navigate motherhood while living with inflammatory bowel disease and arthritis has become a movement of advocacy, activism, empowerment, and a community. Life doesn’t end with a diagnosis or the parenting label. It evolves into some of the most powerful moments in our lives! The Chronicles highlights Brooke’s journey as she continues to navigate through motherhood while living with a handful of chronic conditions, running a non-profit advocacy group, finishing up her college degree, and continuing the quest of finding a life partner, all while trying not to lose her self or her sanity.
There are a lot of women like Brooke that are full-time moms with challenges, but they live a life not defined by them. These women are more than pacifiers, briefcases and a medicine cabinet overflowing with meds! This is the place for them!
