So I’ve been a homemade baby food maker for the past 2 1/2 years. Armed with a small pot and an emulsifying hand blender. Took a good 15-20 minutes to make my applesauce and mashes for Jax. Well, I was over my sister’s house the other day and she introduced me to the amazing Baby Bullet and it’s Turbo Steamer! WHAT?! How the hell did I miss this? And why the hell do I not have one. Considering the fact that it’s been hard of for me to stand up at times, this Baby Bullet is a DREAM for mommies w/ autoimmune diseases! My sister says she steams and blends in just about 3 minutes! I am completely blown away right now! LOL! There are a bunch of steamer and mixers, but this has all the parts and the time is perfect for someone like me or someone with a lot of kids. She also asked me for some recipes, so while I search for a Baby Bullet, you can write down some of Jax’s favorite mashes! My son doesn’t like green veggies, so I hide them. The mixtures in italics are good for toddlers. I do not add sugar, but with some I add a little nutmeg or cinnamon for antioxidants. I may also add a little curry or Bragg’s Amino Acids for the older kids for a little taste.
